Kids will learn redstone circuitry and basic engineering concepts
Platform:
Minecraft Education

Course INFORMATION
This course uses Minecraft to connect students to the world of science and engineering! Using Minecraft and specially created mods, students will learn concepts in computer science by writing simple programs, explore electronics by building redstone devices, and strengthen problem-solving skills through creative in-game challenges. Minecraft channels students’ creativity and passion for the game into memorable, hands-on learning experiences.
Learning Outcomes
Students will learn how to modify game parameters using commands, build redstone circuits and machines, and design within 3D environments. They will also gain a foundational understanding of programming as they apply computational thinking to solve in-game challenges and create interactive projects.
